THE BEGINNING OF #EVERY DAY FOR FUTURE#
One Friday afternoon, my seven-year-old son came back from school and asked me: „Mama, why is it only Fridays for future? Why not every day for future?“
Over the following weeks, I started to interview friends and their kids, who went to the „Fridays for Future“ demo(s). How does one resonate personally with the topic of global warming? What does one do or not do in daily life to stop/slow down global warming?
95% of the interviewed people resonated strongly with the „Fridays for Future“ movement and were very keen to contribute personally. Yet, the majority had not really thought about concrete personal impact in their daily life or just had rudimentary ideas of their contribution (plans). It was very rare to find someone during the interviews, who had a clear view and acted truly as a „sustainable citizen“.
The idea of „Every Day for Future“ was born.
We are committed to engage, inspire, and empower the younger generations to become future leaders in sustainable development.
