“Success is directly propotional to the number of lives you have touched for the better.

One Friday afternoon, my seven-year-old son came back from school and asked me: „Mama, why is it only Fridays for future? Why not every day for future?“

Over the following weeks, I started to interview friends and their kids, who went to the „Fridays for Future“ demo(s). How does one resonate personally with the topic of global warming? What does one do or not do in daily life to stop/slow down global warming?

95% of the interviewed people resonated strongly with the „Fridays for Future“ movement and were very keen to contribute personally. Yet, the majority had not really thought about concrete personal impact in their daily life or just had rudimentary ideas of their contribution (plans). It was very rare to find someone during the interviews, who had a clear view and acted truly as a „sustainable citizen“.

The idea of „Every Day for Future“ was born.

We are committed to engage, inspire, and empower the younger generations to become future leaders in sustainable development.

„I have been working successfully in the corporate world for nearly two decades. Business success is defined by revenue growth and profit maximisation. Neither the old education system, nor my supervisors have taught me, how to sustain social, ecologic and economic balance, while making another record year in companies‘ history.
Yet, the world is changing and the consumer demand is shifting. The success of an organisation is no longer solely measured by its profit, but by its value creation for the environment, society and the larger world.
Sustainable development needs more collaboration. Collaboration divides the task and multiplies the success.“

“I was drawn to sustainability by a sense of passion that grew, first through the eyes of my own children. Working with my boys on humanitarian projects (home building) with TECHO in the slums of Latin America made clear the impact they can make.  Supporting mothers and families through pregnancy, birth and post-partum as a midwife for 10 years continually renewed my sense of hope and future.  Running small companies in Mexico, Cuba and the US taught me the virtues of goal setting and the rigour needed to achieve those goals.   … and motherhood reminds me each day of my duty to leave to future generations a sustainable world.
I am excited by the possibilities that supporting our schools on the journey to continued sustainability can create for the future.”
